Summary: These “beings” or “spirits” are from the Lord, not Satan. Satanic beings are referred to by other Hebrew terms. 1) The spirits are evil only in that the results of their actions on evil men is what we would call evil. 2) Wind=spirit=invisible quality points to God’s hidden action in men’s inner hearts. 3) These beings only judge the wicked who are seemingly unassailable in high positions of power where normal means of justice cannot reach them.
